Artist's Statement
I go the studio to escape the world. I dive into my primal clay, finding the joy in form, light and materials. I relish the one-on-one with portait subjects and get lost in fantastical meanderings. But, reality finds me there and stirs my more strident streak, work that seems apart, but not really— all of it is based in passion and the currency of truth.
